Rarely in a career a researcher gets a chance to make a substantial contribution to their field of expertise! I have been privileged to get that opportunity and would love if you join me on this journey!

Hello, I am Aleksandra!

An art historian and lead scholar to the Sarajevo Haggadah Project.

With degrees from the Universities of Sarajevo and Zagreb, my research on the Sarajevo Haggadah, a fascinating medieval masterpiece has been recognized by fellowships and awards at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Duke University, Rutgers University, Penn's Schoenberg Institute for Manuscript Studies, and Harvard University.

Here, I will be sharing my research and the latest discoveries on the Sarajevo Haggadah. You will learn about modern technology I used to forensically reconstruct the Sarajevo Haggadah’s art-history, and about the mysteries that shaped it.

I will infuse this journey with spicy Sephardic recipes and Judeo-Spanish romances. In addition to newsletters, I will also launch an online exhibition and a mini-course. Occasionally, I will be gifting bookmarks, reproductions and a facsimile of the Sarajevo Haggadah!

Happy reading and welcome on board!
